A little warning about removing your fuel filter.

I found this out the hard way. Heres the story it is really icy here right now so i was unable to stand on my bumper to look into the filter housing when i changed the fuel filter yesterday. apparently part of the filter stayed in the filter housing (dont know what part that was because the filter looked complete when i took it out) but anyways when i put the new filter in it pressed on whatever was left in the filter housing and while i was driving down the road it shorted out the fuel heater which inturn fried the ecm fuse and left me dead on the side of the road in twenty degree weather. 175 dollars later i was back up and running. the moral of the story is always check the inside of the filter housing.
