Stock (if u live in cold weather for starting)
High idle Heavy tow (since u tow heavy and dont have an intercooler) Daily driver Performance Race |

Php's site offers more tunes including race but ive heard with stock injectors i cant utilize anything higher than 80 hp tunes

Correct. You're limited to the 80HP tunes. I've got 160cc injectors and a heavy tow tune, I would be very surprised if it had more HP then the stock tune. My truck is a dog in the heavy tow tune, I end up towing in stock tune.
I've pulled roughly 14k in the 65HP daily driver tune without issues. EGTs are managable while still going 65 up hills. It does get smokey with 160cc injectors, which is why I end up with the stock tune. I've got Stock 1200rpm idle 40 Heavy tow 65 Daily driver 100 Performance 140 extreme |

Ben, is your truck manual of auto?
1:High Idle (no need to have to switch through this position to get to another driving tune so I'd place this one on 1) 2:Stock (cold weather starts and driving around cold) 3:40hp heavy tow (for starting from a stop, getting to freeway speed, climbing hills) 4:80hp light tow (once you are up to freeway speed flip to this for lower shift points and flatland cruising) 5:65hp DD (softer shifts with an auto and has good power but you need to ask for it) 6:80hp Performance (hard shifts, some smoke, throaty exhaust, a little bit of pedal give you lots of power) |

BEN.... your right, u cant get anymore then 80hp, but in the higher HP tunes like extreme the fueling properties re more aggressive and shifts are harder, id bump up the HP on some of them tunes.... and i know ive said it, but GET RID OF LOAP. And extreme tune does the same thing and give u POWWWA! |

Ok well wont the higher hp extreme tunes be harder on the trans thats also another reason ive been stayin away from them
|
|
|||
|
Ummmm... yes, but not too much with better shifting, and its only 80hp no matter what.
