HPOP question
95 F250 Powerstroke
There are 2 oil pressure or temperature sensors/switches in the high pressure oil pump galleys. One has 3 wires, is it linked to the PCM? What is the purpose of these 2 sensors/switches? |

if those 2 sensor are what i think they are, one of them is for the temp gauge on the dash board, the other is for the glow plug relay. i think there is a third temp sensor laying around somewhere which for the computer to monitor engine temp.

If you are talking about what I think you are one is an engine coolant temp sensor and the other is engine oil temperature. Both are used by the PCM to monitor engine parameters and adjust as needed.
