Anyone put a SD fuel tank on OBS???

So I'm curious; anyone put a SC tank on an OBS truck? I've looked a bit online, but can't find for sure what the "original" super duty tank was; midships or rear. Anyway, I'd love to have the extra capacity of the SD tank to replace the long skinny tank in the midships position of my '96 eclb. I'm doing a veggie conversion on the truck, and trying to find the largest capacity tank that I might be able to stuff underneath the truck to avoid having to put a tank in the bed. The SD tank would work if it's a long frame-rail mounted tank.
