Is it just short leafs or does it have a ttb drop bracket? All it should be is remove u bolts from axle surrounds, pull leaf off axle put the aal between them and use supplied u bolts to put it back together, should be pretty simple, be prepared to have an alignment done as soon as you finish

Rears? Lets see if I can remember from when I did mine.

Jack rear of truck up under the hitch. Put another jack under the rear axle and remove the wheels. You may need to unbolt the shocks so you can drop the axle enough. Pry the metal clamps apart that hold the spring packs together. Remove the U-bolts that connect the spring pack to the axle. Remove the one bolt that hold all the springs together. Drop the axle enough to separate the springs so you can get the new one in there. Assembly is reverse of removal. Sorry I don't have any pics.

Re: Add-a-leaf install question

Just an add-a-leaf you could get away with the stock ubolt. However if they have never been removed before I would definatly have a set on hand!!

Big thing about the length is those bolts is getting that nut back on lol, and the cheap bolts will twist, we twisted the crap out of a couple doing a 6" lift

Re: Add-a-leaf install question

Yeah or they snap off or the nut wont budge.

I get my ubolts from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard. Very good pricing on oem equipment.
