New to the OBS Scene

Just picked me up a 95 F-250 ECLB auto 4wd of course. had a 99 ECLB loved it, got a little high on miles got out of it into a gasser, hated life and now i have this beast. needs front brakes and a rear window (Major) needs a door lever passenger side and the hood realigned (minor) prob rims and tires does have a 3in exhaust turbo back. need a list of mods. im going to mod the IDM of course is it a 75K resistor i cant remember what it is for the OBS. thing is solid. def needs a lift prob swap the seats out for the newer captain chairs.

It is a 75k go to digikey.com and the part number is PPC75.0KXCT-ND its the best place to get them 23 cents a piece reason for using those resistors is they are a .50W 1% that is something you want to make sure the resistor has the 1% means the 75K can only vary by 1% some are 5% and you dont want that much variance in the IDM

Intercool it. Sooner the better. I did the same thing. Went from a superduty to a gasser then an obs. The intercooler helped me to not miss my superduty.

does someone make the custom pipes or did you bend them your self? and arnt the peliums different sizes on the 6.0 intercooler? ya ill prob do fpr shim and 140v idm and maybe 22k mod or a 10k. i didnt like 10k on my super duty. as for the intercooler maybe with tax returns but i really want to get lift and tires, swap the front seats for a 40/20/40 setup and maybe the rear, get new front brakes (pads, rotors, calipers etc)

The 10k and 22k mods on my truck actually made my truck run worse wasnt a fan of it so removed it Idm mod on the other hand was the best 23 cents i have ever spent and probably ever will

ya i noticed it on my superduty, the 22k worked amazing tell i did my idm almost like they battled eachother. but 22k i noticed alot better throttle response but the idm was both throttle and better startups. its been cold here so its getting motorcraft 5w-20 but it starts flawlessly

Lol, sorry I didn't make one, but there are several in the performance chat that I used for my install and yes the in and out of the 6.0 cooler are 2 different sizes I used factory boots on those, and got my pipes from terryknight, but guy named Chris makes them his ema is smokin-69@msn.com iirc
