turbo-ing a non-turbo

i'm looking to buy this 94 7.3 psd with no turbo, the money i'm saving on buying this truck i could buy a turbo kit for it.

my first question is, is it possible to convert n/a to turbo.
second, is it worth the money and give out the same amount of horses
third, if one and two check out, than who makes a good kit

feed back highly appriciated to the up and coming diesel newbie

as far as the best kit, im not sure. I know banks is a popular choice...garret is the factory and another solid option.....

But, it is very possible to turbocharge a currently naturally asperated motor, BUT the compression is higher in the N/A motor and doesnt need, nor will it tolerate high boost levels. I dont remember off the top of my head, but your probably 22 to 1 compression, versus the 18 or 19 to 1 the turbocharged counterpart runs. You wont need, or be able to use as much boost as a stock turbocharged motor without internal mods....

All that warning done, 5-15 psi of boost will wake your truck up. I would definately look into it!!!!
