5spd to Auto??

My question is what all is needed to convert a 5spd truck to automatic, besides the obvious of course. It would be great to hear from someone that has done it before. It's not somthing I will do soon, but something I would love to do eventually in the future. Next month the intercooler goes in , and a few months after, the fuel system. Then I will relax for awhile

Friend of mine had the ford dealer do it when he lost a leg. New pcm, carpet, steering column, gauges... He paid $9000 in the early 2000s. Id sell it and find a auto, or put a 6spd in it.

You will need an auto PCM, floor hump, auto harness (i think?), auto column. As Kris offered i will trade you straight up for my auto stuff.
