Fuel Gauges

Thes are the most inacruarte gauges around when im at 3/4 full. I can go up hill and watch it shoot down to half. Front tank and rear tank if i step on brakes fuel level goes down. If i fill my front put 8 gallons in it from a quater it says its full. I know its not are the sending units on there way out or am im watching my gauges to much.
