sandblasting
so i sandblasted my frame today. what should i spray my frame with know. i pressure washed it to.

Well If you sandblasted it then power washed it, you will want to sandblast the flash rust off that the water caused

TC dont sell the valspar paint anymore... u used the new stuff ? its something thats starts with a M***? now

After blasting u just need to blow it off with compressed air, wipe it with acetone and primer and paint. Done.

I think POR-15 also has some sort of black UV protector that works well. I know that's what almost everybody uses when restoring vintage Airstream trailers that are prone to frame rust. They say it will last practically forever.
Also the flash rust won't cause any damage and actually helps the POR-15 to bond to some extent. POR=Paint Over Rust |
