Is there a place out there to get tech diagrams?

The transmission for starters. A place kinda like the Ford parts department that has the stuff broken down so you can see the different parts.

There are very few places that do that and none that I have found that go as in depth as the system they use.

i have access to MItchell on Demand that may have some exploded views of what you need. Let me know exactly what you need or are trying to do and i will look it up.

well, i could not get any good views of the tranny with what i have. I will see if i can dig up anything from work.
