pcm change after manual swap

ive been using my ts chip( has manual trans tuning) to "mask" my automatic pcm. but as i will soon be sending the chip out for custom burns its bought time for me to swap the pcm over to a manual version. my question is can it be any manual pcm from an obs? or does it have to be from a 96 and does it have to have any special programing or a certain pcm code? any help would be great!!

i don't think it would make a difference unless you had a 97 cali ruck, which i doesn't look like you do

No your right it's standard emissions. Ive been told that the auto PCM is only different because of the trans tunning but when I run it without the chip the truck studers in low Rpms and just won't get out if its own way would really like to get the right PCM so it runs right without the chip
