Braided hose w\ teflon inner coating
Howdy All,
I am replacing some fuel lines and I can get a braided hose with teflon inner coating for 2.69 per foot. I only need about two feet. Anyways, does the teflon inner coating cause any problems w/ diesel or bio-diesel? One guy told me the diesel smell would permeate the hose and be a constant odor. Thanks, Craig |

As far as I know teflon is compatible with diesel fuel.

Just found this not sure of the validity but as far as I know its okay:If your existing equipment or engine components are not compatible with B100, they should be replaced with those that are. Materials such as Teflon, Viton, fluorinated plastics, and Nylon are compatible with B100

yeah teflon is compatible with just about everything so I don't think you will have any problems. There is a hydraulic shop not far from me that sells the ss braided teflon hose that I'm thinking about going with on my fuel lines.

Thanks fellas. Hey JohnWayne there is a shop at I-35 & N.W. Hwy that quoted me the price of 2.69 a foot. Don't know if they are SS, are braided lines anything but SS?
