Need Help for possible First Diesel

Okay, so I was browsing craigslist the other day after work, and I found this truck. I know that the post is well over a month old, but I've looked through the pictures at least 500 times, and it just looks too good to be true. It's about a 4 hour drive one way, so I cant just go any day of the week. Looking through the pictures, it doesn't appear to have any rust, but after the last few trucks I've looked at, I've come to realize that you can't judge a book by its cover. does this seem like a halfway decent deal?

96 F250 ext cab 4x4 7.3 diesel

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

looks to be a good deal. price is maybe a little low. check the normal stuff. rust, blow by, cold start etc. if it were me id try to get as much info as i could as far as where the truck is and when hes avail, then just show up. you will have a better chance of gettin a good cold start on it.

Looks like it had a cheap rust repair or paint job.... look at the drivers side white line and the blue overlap

Okay thanks guys, but i backed out for a few reasons, one was that looking at the picture undercover pointed out, it's definitely a cheap paint job, because there is spray on the headlights and a slight bit of blue on the bumper. also, i called him 3 times, and he never answered, but he did call me back and left me a message, and never told me how many miles was on it because he wasn't sure. it sounded way too fishy for me. Thanks again
