Buying a 7.3 for 3300

Hi, I have read many posts on the forum and finally became a member. I found a 1997 7.3 reg cab 4x4 for sale with 150,000 miles. The price is a low 3300 bucks.
Now I am a college student with a job but still a relatively low budget. Should I go for the truck or not? What should I be expecting to be wrong? and how reliable should i expect this 7.3 diesel to be?

I've read that that 7.3 is a bulletproof engine. True or false?
