Under hood sound deadener

What have you guys used to quiet down engine noise on the outside of the truck? All my insulation on the wheel wells and firewall was falling apart so I removed it and now it's louder than ever inside and outside the truck. I was looking at the Dynamat Dynaliner but wanted your guys thoughts first.

Also where can I pick up the big heat shield that goes between the turbo and firewall?

I've heard dynamat has worked pretty good but you kinda pull the dash and put it all over the wall there

I feel like pulling the dash would be a pain in the ***!

While I have my motor out I am going to cover my firewall with sound deadening material!
