Powerstroke or not

I have a 1994 F-250 2 wheel drive with 5 speed manual transmission regular cab and i dont know if its a powerstroke or not above the fuel filter it says turbo direct injected and under the F-250 plates on the side it just says turbo diesel but the eighth digit in the vin is F. Plz help need to know

well a DI is a powerstroke, no idea about vin #'s

DI is a Powerstroke. Ford didn't change the Fender badging until 95. Also all 94 powerstrokes came with 5 speeds but you could get the 94 Idi diesel with auto.

There was a turbo charged IDI motor briefly before the Powerstroke diesel came out, sounds like this might be one of them.

Another one of those strange things that Ford does. Apparently they didn't have the auto trans shifting/pcm perfected, not that they ever did

It wouldn't say turbo direct injected on it. It would say Ford turbo on top of the air cleaner
