What's that a little over 300 bales? That's a pretty good load. Nice looking hay too! There was a picture around here somewhere of a guy with 700 bales on a long azz trailer.

306 bales @ 70 lb avg + 5k trailer = 26,420k

Good orchard/timothy mix baled up good and heavy. Its more $$$ but it feeds a lot more animals.

We used to put up as much 2000-3000 bales a day, mostly alfalfa. We baled green rye in the spring and those bales were 70 to 80 lbs each. Those heavy bales will work you hard. Most people don't have the guts to bale them that heavy.

It's good to see an OBS still earining it's keep. Most of them are being bought up by kids these days and all they do is truck pull and mud with them.

When I was a kid I would spend a couple of weeks at my aunt and uncles farm and it seemed I would always get to load hay bales in the barn loft! Man does that suck! Farmers have my respect!!!
