Cold Engine
Started truck today, sat for 3 days low 30s. Let it idle for a minute and pulled out. Went basically straight to highway conditions minus one stop sign. Im doing about 45 50 in 4th gear running higher RPMS to warm up truck. What im asking, do your guys trucks have no power for about 10 minutes on a cold start. I was doing that speed up a mild hill, and had to downshift to 3rd gear and scream up the hill. Once the gauge got to normal temps I was able to climb a hill just like the one before but in OD rpms and everything at normal levels. Just wondering if something might be wrong.. Its almost like when its cold the turbo isnt as powerful?

Yep very normal kind or annoying its like putting your hand over your mouth when you exhale warms it up slowly to keep from wet stacking and burning fuel better and such kind of a drag I deleted mine and have a nice high idle tune.

Even on warm days, I let my truck run for a good 2-3 minutes just to get all the oil cycled!
