Terminator Engineering sells the T-500 for $450 with a core

Last I heard a "stock" 17* was 400 and it is almost a crapshoot on the rebuild

Did they try changing the ipr? Lots of times they will diagnose it as a bad hpop and in reality all it is is just the ipr. They're not cheap per say, but cheaper than a new hpop.

x2, check IPR first, ICP also since it controls pressure. and if you can swing it while in there upgrade the HPOP to the one of choice, T500, SRP1.4.6.7, etc

the IPR was replaced just before they diagnosed the bad hpop, and i believe the checked the icp but ill have to double check. the truck is stock and probably will be till who knows when, i mean no tuning either. i was planning on putting a regular stock hpop in it, is there any reason to upgrade to an aftermarket hpop even on a stock truck?
