Injector reseal

Hello all,
Anyone resealed their injectors? My ca truck has 172k and I'm told a knock from leaky injector. I want to pull them, clean, inspect and then reseal. Worth it? Any idea of the cost and time? Thanks in advance.

Rebuilt injectors are around a grand and come with new seals.

My injectors seem to be fine. Is it a good idea to reseal them?

Plenty of folks have replaced the external injector seals (o-rings). It's not that difficult using the methods regularly found here and elsewhere and if you can wrench. The internal stuff is more of a problem (tools, parts, etc) and were you to go that far, you would probably be better off having someone go through them (especially if you have split-shots). Cheers!
