brake fluid flush?

ok.. another issue... the brake fluid in the 97 psd is pretty dark...(not sure of the last maint. but prev owner claims all regular maint has been done according to manual). anyways.,. should i get a complete flush? the last time my toyota brake fluid looked bad - i got the complete flush and it broke my master cylinder and the ABS actuator went out right after that.. not sure if the old brake fluid caused that. please advise. much thanks again,

I don't know if the flushing had anything to do with your failures. What I do is everytime I bleed the brakes after what ever kind of repair I always keep bleeding till the fluid coming out is nice and clear.

The problems i had after the brake fluid change may not have been a direct result of the fluid change - but it sure was coincidental..
