Custom tunes

I know that there is countless threads on custom tunes, but none that really answer exactly what I am looking for.

I currently run a TS 6 pos. right out of the box, that was my first mistake. I was new to diesels when i ordered it.

With Christmas coming up I need to get my self something, so what better then something for the truck????
I am looking into getting a different tuner I want to get custom tunes. But I wasn't sure if there was a company that i could send my current chip to and have them re-burn it with custom tunes? Also since my truck is primarily stock right now am I gonna see a big different between canned tunes and custom tunes?

cary at ct performance can def hook you up with that, and paul at cptrucks.com, and raul at stealth automotive, all charge about the same rate and use TW tunes on the TS chip, you will notice night and day difference, i can blow my neighbors truck outta the water no sweat and only difference between us is an intercooler. therfore i create less boost "theoretically" but smoke him no problem

ok that is what I wanna hear, I talked with Beans Diesel and they charge per tune that you want. Are the company that you guys mentioned the same?

I would wait till you do something to your truck. Being it is stock other than the chip, you will have Very little noticeable gain with a custom chip. Unless you are towing(and want lower EGTs) or are looking to squeeze every last HP out of the truck, save your money and get it reburned when you have other mods done

i would get custom tunes period, i had my chip burned for mods i was planning on ordering soon and it just got better the more parts i put on it lol
