Hello everyone. I'm looking for feedback on a truck I'm looking at.

- 1996 Ford F-250 7.3L 4X4 extended cab
- It was always garaged and never smoked in
- No mechanical or electrical problems
- service history is available
- 100,105 miles
- automatic transmission
- 4.10 limited slip axle
- drawtite activator electric trailer brake
- airlift suspension system with rear airbags (electric pump mounted on undercarriage)
- trailer tow package
- bed liner
-just completed a full inspection
- $4000 CDN

The pictures look good and it appears the owner was meticulous in maintaining the truck and keeping it clean. I haven't been able to go and see it and drive it yet. Just looking for feedback based on the info.

sounds good, you have any pics, take it for a test drive make sure it drive, shifts like it should. what cab configuration, trim package?

No, it was grey and black... I have another one I'm going to look at, this one is real as I've already spoken to the dealer. 03 250 XL 4 door(not a crewcab)... 6.0, 232,000km... asking $7000. Any advice on what to look for when I take it for a test drive?

A broken engine. Is this at a Ford dealership or a used lot? If it's at Ford this will save you a step, get the VIN # and take it to a Ford service department. Ask to see the recall completion report on the vehicle. It needs to have the factory stud kit done, factory updated egr, and re-flash on the PCM to keep the turbine from soot'ing up. If at least the stud kit isn't done then the motor might be junk. The 6.0L can be a really nice engine but they don't call it a 6-leaker for nothing.
