A broken engine. Is this at a Ford dealership or a used lot? If it's at Ford this will save you a step, get the VIN # and take it to a Ford service department. Ask to see the recall completion report on the vehicle. It needs to have the factory stud kit done, factory updated egr, and re-flash on the PCM to keep the turbine from soot'ing up. If at least the stud kit isn't done then the motor might be junk. The 6.0L can be a really nice engine but they don't call it a 6-leaker for nothing.
