Help with buying
Ok so I found a 97 f250 short bed crew cab psd 4x4 with 140k. The truck looks clean from the pics. All stock. He wants 10.5k. That seems a little high to me but I can't really find any low mile ccsb obs to compare. Any help would be great.

new truck
I paid$12,000 for 96 CCSB 4x4 with 195,000 miles all stock which I know to alot of people is crazy but living in the midwest its hard to find a CCSB without any rust and if you get a plane ticket or drive a long distance to buy one you're taking a chance on it being as nice as someone says! There's something to be said for buying locally ,plus is supports your local economy.I looked for about 6-7 years on and off for the right one and now I have it , good luck with yours and if its right buy it and don't look back on the price!

It sounds right to me but it all depends on what it is worth to you. Others will tell you it is high and some will disagree. Is it XLT, what condition is the body and interior? Do you have any pics to post? The interior being in good shape is a big plus to me since a lot of those parts are hard to find and can be exspensive. Remember you are the one driving it - if you would be happy with it buy it. If you pass on it do ever look back - these trucks are getting fewer and fewer, especially one with that low of miles.
Good luck on your search. |
