what are your plans for the truck... why not take this time and convert to electric fuel pump with a regulated return. nothing convinces the wife to spend a little money on an upgrade when its already broke!

i know that feeling, if your going to do a chip to a dp and exhaust too, you could check a junk yard for a cheap pump to get you buy for cheap, wether or not i would trust it is a hole other story though

Just so you know, smoke/= power. Smoke indicates an overly rich condition which washes down your cylinder walls and wastes fuel out the tail pipe.

It also gets the EPA pissed off at all diesel owners and we get things like ULSD and today the rulling ofH&S tuning getting banned from making their DPF and EGR delete kits and their tuning software, by the EPA.

X2 if you want optimum performance out of your truck you want little to no smoke because then your burning all of your fuel, all black smoke is is unburnt fuel which is a waste and your pretty much throwing your money out the tailpipe

I understand that, but the reason u may have to fix ure injectors may be due to a lack of fuel supply... it can be done for cheeper then 500 depending on how thrifty u are and how good at fabrication u are. To fix ure injectors it will be the same price to upgrade them. Look at rosewood diesel.

And jut FYI.... smoke is frowned upon in the real diesel enthusiast community.

+1 on Jim Rosewood. He is one of the best shops out there for injectors and the customer service is great.
