Trailer Wiring. Who knows it?

So a couple of months ago (I seldom tow trailers) I noticed that i had no running lights on my trailer harness. Brake, turn hazard worked just fine. I figured I wouldnt mess with it, because it was like -20*F and blowing like 30MPH..

But now that I have extra time, I figured that I would.

Im no stranger to electrical systems, but thought i would check here first to see if anyone has done trailer wiring.

Basically, is there anywhere that ford so nicely puts hook-ups for trailer wiring? Or do these shops just t-tap the hell out of everything?

My connector is just rusted to hell, and out of the 7 pins there, only 4 have wires exist on the connector -_- so I was figuring that i would fix it, and update it as well, with all new wiring (so all 7 are connected) and a new connector.

Check the fuses under the hood IIRC each circuit has its own fuse

Well, thats issue #1, but issue #2 is adding the 3 remaining missing wires

If its an factory plug then it is plugged into the factory harness. If its not the anything is possible. In a 7 way plug you have running lights, right turn, left turn, back up lights, brakes, hot, and ground.

MB HPOP, PHP Hydra, AFE stage 2, 4" turbo back exhaust, gutted cat, ford reman trans, JW valve body, 6.0 trans cooler, EGT trans temp boost gauges, Hutch and Harpoon mod, riffraf FRx, Pro Comp leveling kit, 08 rear diff cover, 315 Toyo AT2,

I dont think one pin is for reverse lights although it could be used for it. That pin is meant for charging a battery in/on the trailer.

The only difference between a 6 and a 7 way plug is the reverse lights. They both have a hot for charging the battery.
