08 Axle Swap

I got a leed on a complete chassis with axles and all for decent price near by. Is there any difference with this set up than the 05-07 set up that everyone uses. Or is there something I should look for or measure when I go to look at on Sunday

Slightly Bigger brakes on 08+, slightly skinnier with different offset wheels, 11 models have electric locking rear!, 08+ have longer rear leafs that will require more measuring to install. 05+ are longer also but only on the shackle side of the leaf. Front eye to center axle is the same

08 front axles are coil sprung arent they..
I could be mistaken tho

Yes there coil sprung. I'm coverting my truck over.

Nice that will be nice my work truck is a new 6.7 coil sprung and it rides great. It will definitely be the only obs ive seen coil sprung.

There are a few guys that have done the coil swap on the forum. Such as, Ol blue97, who posted above.

The 08 gear ratio isnt 3:73 usually either if they came from a diesel chasis. if it matters.

I thought the gears where higher in the 08 like 3.31s but the guy told me 3.73s. I'm going to see what it is when I get it
