basically it reroutes the crankcase vent that normally vents into the intake out the back of the truck

here's a link that explains/shows ya how to do it

Welcome to guzzle's CCV mod web page

In the middle of your intake tube there is a plastic peice that has a small shaft that sticks into the intake and is a Crank Case Ventilation... People take this off, replace the plastic peice with a 4" peice of exhaust tubing and then route the CCV down somewhere. I'm going to route it into my exhaust.

Nothing cept helps keep your boost tube boots from getting as dirty as normal...

Not really that big a deal I guess unless you upgrade your intake tube to something that doesn't have one -- then I'd do the mod -- otherwise, I'd just leave it

I'd doubt it -- its just rerouting the crank case gases and residue...

i'm pretty sure no one has had any problems because of this mod...

matt1030 is an 07 6.0L, can you do a CCV mod on a 6.0 the same as our 7.3's? I'm not too farmiliar with the way the crank case vents itself or intake set-up.
