Transmission Gauge

Hey Guys - I did a search but can't find anything about the trans temp connection. The gauge I bought came with a 1/8" screw in thermostat - I guess you would call it. Is there a place to screw this in on a stock transmission without drilling and tapping? If so do I need some sort of adapter? Thanks!

there should be a "test" port that you take out and put that trans temp sensor in

Here's some pics

those are on a 6.0L -- but should be similar

Man that's a clean tranny/truck - thanks Brant.

I got a quote from the local high performance shop to install all three gauges - $262... I think I'll give it a shot myself.

yeah it took me about 2 1/2 hours doing it by my self to install the three gauges the hardest one i thought was the boost i didnt want to kink the line anywhere. and if u route the trans temp through the shifter boot its alot easier than the firewall.
