94 engine Q????

So i'm looking at this truck it's a 93 f-350 with a turbo 94 engine in it is this a powerstroker or what??

Yes... but curious about that b/c there was a motor change from 93-94.

Also, the 94 turbo I think is different for the first year production, something about the dp is connected to the turbo???

Has a 93 body e the po said the engine went and he put a 94 turbo'd one in.

It is my understanding that the Powerstroke started in 94.5 and the older 7.3’s had injector pumps instead of the Powerstroke computer controlled injection system. My grandpas 91 7.3 is very different then my Powerstroke and has way, way less get up and go. If it has an injector pump and metal fuel lines going to each injector then it is not a Powerstroke.

Probably a 7.3 IDI (indirect injection), since swapping a 94.5 powerstroke would be quite involved (compter/injector driver module/wiring)
