Can split shot injectors be used instead of single shot injectors in out 1st gen 7.3's?

Is there any advantage to installing the split shot units? HP/TQ, MPG, etc?

Any thoughts?

Yes splitshots can be used in our trucks. Other than being quieter there is no advantage to them.

Split shot injectors will not work on early models.Split shot or Pilot injection needs to be controlled by the ecm and will only be an advantage on models equiped with this programming.

yes splits will run in obs trucks, i havent personally ran them in my truck but i know of several that do. To make them idle right you need a chip that has the correct programming, otherwise idle will be rough.
