APCM troubleshooting

Scored myself a APCM, it is communicating with the PCM (buttons work, can set/choose an RPM and it'll rev up, charge protect will rev up the engine.) The problem I am having is when the unit is on, the LCD shows "0" for RPM, and on charge protect show ".0" for voltage. Do I need to have either the PCM or APCM reprogrammed to get this thing to work?

If you know someone with a compatible vehicle ask if you can borrow their apcm plug to see if your unit works on their truck. Or try their apcm in your truck. Easiest trouble-shoot I've ever used.

ps sometimes chip mods interfere with computer ''reception''.

Mine didn't work until i got my DP Tuner
