Alcoa Help please....

Any after effects from installing 22.5 Alcoas on a 2001 F350?? I have heard that they tend to wear out ball joints. The work is done, just hoping I wont start wearing out parts....your thoughts??

I am just thinking out loud here....Could that be caused by increased weight of the larger rims and tires? I am just thinking because I have heard that anytime you add weight to the front you will prematurely wear parts out. Kinda makes sense when you think about it. I don't know but it would kinda make sense to me. And here's abump to the top for some more opinions on this.

The extra un-sprung weight will tend to beat up the suspension a lil more than stack of course, the biggest thing is to upgrade shocks to a set that can keep them big wheels and tires in check.

just make sure you dont run too much air in the tires. that will kill you and the truck. keep about 45 in the fronts and 35 or so in the rears. a have dual bilsteins at all corners. you need to run a gas shock, no oil.
SPEARS69-were you asking me about my wheels and tires. i may want to sell them. they are the stock 04 dually wheels that came on lariats. took them off and put them in storage at about 300 miles when the 22.5's went on.
