Sold the 08 f350..bought 97 f350 7.3 crew cab long bed..330k mile looks and drives great.is there any problems I need to look for? My 1st 7.3 ..did smoke white on start up but not much...any tricks of the trades for making it last would be appriciated ..thanks

maintenance. keep the oil fresh, keep the fluids clean, if you take care of it itll take care of you

Wow. You sold an 08 to get an older OBS truck? Never heard of that before lol. Like the guy said before, just regular maintenance. Regular 3000 miles oil changes, and when you change the oil use a little injector cleaner in the gas tank. You truck will run forever. The 7.3L trucks don't need much to keep running.
