How to find out what injectors i have?

i have a 96, cali truck, was told i have split shots, been looking around for AB, all i found was AA on the valve cover, i have the dampener under the turbo for them as well.


then i found out only 97's and 96's have them that were built after 4/96, but my truck was built in 1/96.


do i have split shots? or single shots? what size? where else to look to see?


i want to find out!, its buggin me!

pull your drivers side valve cover itll take you 20min with the right tools and you will know the real answerand you dont evenneed to disconect the valve cover harness

97 f350single cab auto

do you have a sticker on the pass side valve cover saying its compliant with california emissions? what's your pcm code? pulling the valve cover is going to be the best other than the blue sticker on pass side, also look for a shunt on the GPR, the gpr and pass side valve cover sticker you can do w/o tools

yes i have the CA sticker on the valve cover, theres also one on the hood. ill get a pic of it tomorrow and post it. maybe you can see the codes and let me know.

and whats the shunt you speak off? ill check my GPR tomorrow morning if its not raining.

when i checked the pass side valve cover, i couldnt find a "AB" anywhere, just AA.

split shots are quieter at idle right? mine is.

im just trying to figure out what i have before i go and pull the VC.

it would say ab or aa on the injector it's self, the valve cover just has a white sticker that has blue writing and says passes california smog, and another member here has piks of the write up on installing a stancor on the cali model, it should show you exactly what the shunt looks like

(i think someone made up that word for what ever it's called lol)

if you gpr looks like his in the beginning than you have stock splits

you find the sticker? at all? if none of that then you have single shot 90cc
