I assume this knowledgeable person means the wastegate, which OBS trucks do not have.

Maybe have them point out the valve so they can teach us all something new about OBS trucks

Well I don't know but it sounded like somthing was going on with my turbo this morning it had a really rasspy tone at lower rpm then I get on it a little and it stops and my normal turbo whistle came back...but if I let off it would do it again and turbo whistle goes away also truck was all the way warm...
