How to make my 97 manual stroke faster

I have a 97 Stroke, and I am very new to this. The truck has 196 miles on it, runs awesome, just is slow. I am wondering how I can make this truck more of an everyday driver and give it a lot more pick up. Any advice is appreciated. It also already has a cold air intake. It is a dually, crew cab 2wd.

theres alot to do, whats your budget?

first id do some gauges to watch things, boost, egt's, oil psi, etc.

then a nice chip or tuner and exhaust and DP would really wake it up.
