VSS Issue?

Driving yesterday and noticed a good little wobble in the speedometer. Only did it once for maybe 5 seconds. Today, get in, crank it up, and no odometer, no speedometer, and ABS light on. Checked the plug, it's fine, and I have the same trouble. Sound like a VSS issue?

No sounds more like the fuse in the panel under the dash (I don't remember which #) or the PSOM took a dump.

Would a dead PSOM trip an ABS light?

I don't think so but not positive. But your odometer should still show the numbers (not going to change of course) with a bad VSS

Well, I checked on the wiring, it looked good at least from the sensor up to the framerail. ABS light went off last night, but the dome light is out. Gotta go look at the fuses again.

Check the underdash fuse for the dome light. I had a problem with my courtesy light circuit shorting with my power window circuit (shorting in the harness where the harness goes from the rear passenger door to the cab). Blew the fuse for the courtesy lights which knocked out the odometer/speedometer. Cheers!

I found it. #8 fuse was toasted. I'm not sure what I was doing under there yesterday to have missed it.
