gauges?

I have a 1997 F 250 and i want to install a three gauge a pillar and was wondering where to find the best deal on this? also what was required to install them? and last but not least do you need a new transmission pan to install the tranny temp gauge?

Thanks

Depends on how much you want to spend...

you can go with something inexpensive like these:94-09 FORD Superduty 3 GAUGE KIT
or these:Auto Meter Gauge Kits
or these:Isspro Gauge Kit

i have a 4 gauge pod from complete performance (cptrucks.com) and it came painted, i just drilled 3 holes in it to match up to the screws in the factory stuff, i used autometer z series that match great with a green LED back light to match dash colors

is it really worth the extra 120$ for the auto meter or the isspro? and any word on the transmission pan. do you need to replace it when you run your tranny temp gauge due to not being able to tap into a stamped pan?

no need to replace it, there is a test plug on the drivers side of your e4od, just pull it replace with the plug supplied with the gauge and run a wire, your good to go

I got a 4 gauge pod and 4 gauges from glow shift for $200. Their 3 gauge is $149 IIRC.... I can't complain one bit, it's been a good set of gauges. I would buy them again for sure. They are a good set at a darn good price. That's my recommendation.

Glow shift elite series is my favorite I wish I had bought them instead of their digital readouts. The wiring is cake on those elite series. Good luck
