body lifts suck, probably the one of the worst things you could do to a truck in my opinion. As for the down pipe, that will help flow your exhaust better....

but can i fit a 4 inch without the lift i dont like the body lifts either i thought that would be the only way to put the downpipe in there

You won't get it in there without serious modifications to the firewall. The body lift will help. Are you planning on making your own pipe? How much power are you looking to make?

i would just buy a 3.5" down pipe... or which ever size will fit in there without lifting the cab. I have a true full 4" downpipe on my 99 superduty and i had to hammer the very top of the pipe so it wouldnt rub on the head of the engine on the passengers side. I would just buy a DP that will fit without major modification i.e. a body lift

3.5" dp to 4" pipe is PLENTY.
Dockboy made over 700 RWHP on a 3.5" dp.... |
