The truck finally made its way to the bodyshop. Panels all got fitted and now removed and in the paint booth ready for some color. Haven't had this truck in daylight for nearly 5 years and now can see the light at the end of the tunnel. This monday i should be able to show some color shots. The color is from a 2011 volvo big rig blue. No metallic but more of a pastel like an old ford engine blue or richard petty's nascars.
Undecided yet is that i have the mickey thompson rims but i am having them painted black along with a set of bushwhacker extend a fender wheel flares and not sure if i want a gloss or a matte black.

lookin good..... as for the fender flares i vote either paint to match or matte black, NOT GLOSS

thanks guys! i was kind of leaning towards the matte finish. I was just thinking if flares are blue that it might be too much blue. Truck was origionally just a "custom" trim package. Not really wanting the chrome grill or the headlight bezels so i was having these painted body color aswell.
So if the rims go matte black i should install the black door mirrors instead of the chrome ones.

i decided to go with matte for the flares and the wheels. I just think it would be too much blue having the flares painted to match. Believe me with this shade i need something to break the color up lol.
Leaving now to head down to the shop,truck is in the booth so try to take some pics before paint. Trying to find the weatherstipping for the door window track and the "whiskers" that sandwhich the glass is a pain to try to trackdown. junkyard stuff is no better than what i already have.

Thanks! Going to get on their site now,i just found another company "Blue Oval Truck Parts" but shipping across the border might be an issue.
