noob advice

Hey guys I've never owned a diesel but in the market for one. I'm sure there is a lot of great info but I'm on my cell and have a issue searching cuz I'm not finding much.

Basically I got a call last from a guy wanting to trade me a 7.3 95 350 drw 5 speed. For my k5 GMC jimmy. Im just looking for all the info I can on what to look out for. Anyway all the info I can get is appreciated

Search search search man. All kinds of info. Go read the flame free noob thread, some guys get annoyed at answering the same question a 100 times a day. I assume it's 2wd, so check front end over well, they tend to wear out. drive, try to look at it when you can start it cold, make sure the GP system is good, listen for misses, rough idle etc. How many miles, check for blowby in the motor. But go read, and then feel free to post your findings when you look at it and let us know! Good luck
