PHP tunes+SMF make transfercase shifter noisy
Wondering if anyone has run into this issue. Installed SMF and clutch. Ran the truck for a couple weeks before installing a chip with PHP tunes. Now when getting on it, the transfer case shift lever really gets noisy. I'm sure it's associated with the tunes increasing cyl. pressure and sending it down the line, but does anyone else have this issue?

Don't know for sure, but you could just be noticing the difference with the SMF. When I put the SMF in my 97, since I had an XL, I noticed all kinds of cab noise, some of which was coming in through the shifters. More engine vibration being radiated throughout since it didn't have the DMF to buffer it. After about 10K miles, the SMF broke in and the cab noise subsided somewhat. Just a thought.
