So I was lookin online for sending units, does or would it help to get an in tank sending unit with a pump? So it kind of acts like a lift pump? Is this even possible?

I have been looking just for the float can't find it, but I know I have been getting a lot of parts from rockauto.com , some parts "same brand as stores" I have found almost half price. Saved mne over 300 bucks ordering my stuff from them. Check them out.

You could just swap over to an electric SD pump and delete the stock pump.
