ts 6 pos chip from a 97 in a 95

Found a ts 6 pos chip with canned tunes on it really cheap online out of a 97psd. wondering if it will work on my 95 or will I have to get it reburned??

What trans configurations are the trucks? Cali or 49 state?

Both are autos. I'm doubting they are cali since both were originally sold in Canada so I'm guessing they are 49 state?

if its canned tunes i dont think it really matters, hell i think it works on the 99-03 too dont it?

The guy said it would but I dunno! Figure I will get it for now cause its only $75 and run it till I get some more stuff then get custom tunes. Maybe it will improve my mpg?? I know its not as good as custom tunes but will be better than stock and for that price I can't go wrong can I?
