this seems like a weird question buttt....
i was cruising on the internet and i saw an OEM replacement for the fuel bowl lid, it had some kind of relief it looked like in top with a hose connection. this like a vent? or is like one from checker not recommended? just curious lol

The OEM style ones are a filter/lid combo. Others have a filter and lid separately. |

That fuel lid is for the IDI's (not Powerstrokes). The OEM setup for OBS PSDs has a separate lid and a filter element that clips into the lid. Some of the aftermarket filters come with an integral lid (and folks forget to save their old lid for times when they can't get the filter with the lid built-in). Cheers!
