whats it worth?

i know these are not power strokes but im hoping someone in here will have a little inside to help me out. i posted up in the idi section to.

what is a 1990 7.3L cab and frame supper duty worth? the truck has dully rear axle. i am going to be getting two of these trucks. one standard one auto. if any of the parts are worth anything to save. if not ill just be scraping everything. help me out here guys im more familiar with the powerstroke engine. is there anything that is the same form the idi and the powerstroke?

Nothing will interchange between the powerstrokes and Idi engines. Depending on what the transmission's are they may sell. Idi parts usually sell well. Value IDK maybe $1500-$2000 depending on condition and if running maybe a little more.

but not sure on the brick nose idi's they fetch a premium regardless here running, everyone is asking 3-8k pending on whats in it, like 4x4, and stuff like that,

they are not 4x4's they were used as stake bodies at a land scape company, would be like a box truck or something. i know the idi stuff isnt big on here do you guys know of any place i should go to try and sell this stuff off. i dont want to just scape out these if they are worth saving.

ok next question, is it worth my time to try and part these trucks out or just send them right out to the crusher? they are not 4 wheel driver. one is auto and one is standard 5 speed i believe. and then if i do part them out, whats worth saving? are the rear dually axels worth hanging on to ? i am paying 500 each for the trucks, i figure i can get 700 just sending them to the crusher.

definitely don't send them straight to the crusher. hold on to them for a month of so and see what you can get out of them. i'm sure there will be some guys on oilburners.net and some of the other ford truck sites that could use parts, even if they are just body and trim pieces.

I would really like the roll over valve from both tanks, if it has a large vent hose.
