'95 F-350 Wouldn't start

My 1995 F-350 would not start. After reading the forum I checked all problems that were recommeded for others with similar simptoms. I changed the CPS, changed the fuel filter, checked the high pressure oil, a little low so I filled it, Checked the fuel pressure at the shrader valve, almost non-exsitent so I changed the fuel pump. Pressure came up but still wouldn't start. Tried to read the code plugs but scanner wouldn't connect with computer. Was told the computer must be bad. Removed the cable and found a very dirty connection. Cleaned the connector and the pins and truck fired right up. Just a little hint to those that are also pulling their hair out. I'm not a mechanic by any means so this took a lot longer than it probably should have to fix. Thanks to all the input given to others in this forum, I was able to fix the truck without taking it to a shop.
