What to watch for?
Installed my dp tuner chip and aeroforce interceptor gauge yesterday. At what point should I be concerned with EGT numbers and trans temp numbers? This is my first experience with these mods. It was fun installing them!

Be very concerned if trans temps get near 240* and egt's try to keep under 1200-1250* but can go higher for a very short time.

honestly id try and keep my tranny cooler than that, maybe 210 would be where i wanna start getting leary of it

210*F and I'd be going very easy on it.
You probably won't run very high unless towing big or doing a LOT of unlocked TC driving. |

I started to say 210* start being careful but but not knowing if or what he tows didn't want him or anyone else to think they needed to pull over at that temp.

I tow a 24ft travel trailer and a few atvs behind it. I was using my80 economy tune and saw 1000 temps. Haven't towed yet. I am going to program the interceptor to trigger the warning lights once I hitter caution numbers.

Yeah, EGT. My trans number were very low.

If you have a 49 state truck with stock sticks I doubt you will ever see more than 1100*

Good to know. I am pretty content with the mods I have done and don't plan to do anything more. I am going to set my warning around 1100
